"The Unclaimed Gifts by the River"

"Sitting by the River: A Vision of Blessings"
"Sitting by the River: A Vision of Blessings"

"I want to share with you a dream I had the other day. I didn’t know how to release the dream to you, so I waited on God to give me the time and the date.

In this dream, I saw a river, much like the River of Chebar. Along its banks, gifts lay upon the hillside—some with people seated beside them, others left untouched. There appeared to be people sitting by gifts that could represent individuals who have received blessings, callings, or spiritual gifts from God. And when I looked beyond the way, I could see gifts without people next to them, which might symbolize unused talents, unclaimed blessings, or callings that have not yet been accepted.

As I reflect on this dream, I see how it aligns with recognizing God’s plans for my life. The river seemed to symbolize spiritual flow, renewal, and divine revelation—an invitation to step into the blessings He has prepared. Perhaps this vision is not just for me, but for others who are also seeking to walk fully in their God-given purpose."

"The River of Chebar: Gifts Given and Waiting"

2 Timothy 1:6 (NIV)

"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands."

This verse speaks to the idea of recognizing and activating the spiritual gifts God has given us, rather than leaving them unclaimed or unused. It aligns with the dream’s imagery of gifts waiting by the river—some embraced, others left untouched.

James 1:17 (NIV) – "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."(Emphasizing that all gifts are from God and meant to be received.)

Romans 11:29 (NIV) – "For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable."(Showing that God's call and gifts are always available—we just need to accept them.)

Ezekiel 1:1 (NIV) – "In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God."(Connecting the dream to the River of Chebar and divine revelation.)

"Sitting by the River: A Vision of the Woman"

Can I share a short story He revealed to me in my dream?

As I walked towards the banks of the flowing river, gifts lay upon the hillside—some with people seated beside them, others left untouched. There appeared to be a woman who stood next to me, and I asked her why the people were not opening their gifts. She began to say, "The gifts that sit upon the hills are for them to present to Jesus Christ."

She then said, "Jesus Christ is soon to come." I was struck by her words and felt an urgency in my spirit. I began to take pictures of the sky, hoping to capture the glory that rested upon the people.

Suddenly, the scene changed. I was in a house when I heard a knock at the door. As I opened it, there stood a woman, and behind her waited her husband. She told me that the picture I had taken of her had been reported to her, and she wanted to know why I had taken it.

I explained to her that I was amazed by the gifts that lay upon the hillside and moved by the sight of people sitting by their gifts. I had only wanted to capture the beauty of what I had witnessed.

You see, in this dream, I saw many gifts by the river, which carried a divine presence, whispering of blessings, callings, and spiritual gifts awaiting recognition. Some embraced what had been given, while others remained unaware of the treasures before them. What do these gifts represent, and who will claim them?

I believe God was showing me that this dream could be an invitation to reflect on spiritual gifts—both mine and those of others. Are there gifts that have been given but remain unclaimed? Is God calling you to recognize or use certain gifts in your life or in the lives of others?

"When Jesus returns, I desire to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Him, just as Romans 12:1 calls us to do. My life, my obedience, and my worship are my offering to Christ. I pray that my gifts—whether in service, love, or faith—will be found pleasing in His sight. May my walk reflect His glory, and may I use every gift He has given me to honor Him."
